FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why the name Lost Generation?

It is in reference to the writers and artist of the 1920's and 30's. Our speakeasy themed bar speaks to that time period with a twist: 1920’s meets 2020’s. We chose a 120-year old Nabisco Factory to house this brewery with its original cathedral ceilings, brick structure, wooden posts, and the bar made from the original floor boards. This juxtaposes the modern mural on the opposite side of the bar where a jazz meets hip-hop theme ties it all together.

Do allow outside food?

Yes! Whether it's from home, delivery service or your favorite restaurant, we encourage our guests to bring in your own food.

Do you have food options?

Check out our food truck calendar to see our line-up. We also offer prepackaged snacks from local vendors.

Do you allow dogs indoors?

Yes! Well behaved, leashed pups are welcome at any of our tables.

Do you have a patio?

Yes! We have an outdoor patio immediately in front of the brewery. All patio seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

Do you host private events?

Since we are normally closed Mondays, Tuesdays and anytime before 4pm during the week, we'd be happy to host a full buyout for your next private event on those days. We can accommodate partial buyouts for our open hours of operation. Email events@lostgenbrewing.com for more details.

How do I get there?

We are conveniently located a half mile north of the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro and a half mile south of the Rhode Island - Brentwood Metro. We are immediately off of the MBT trail on S Street with Capital Bikeshares very close by and ample bike parking out front.
